Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
The Rediscovering You client portal at portal.solotravelingceo.com is operated by Sip Taste Wander LLC, a limited liability company registered in New York State, trading as Solo Traveling CEO ("we", "us").
The portal is the private workspace for our one-to-one coaching programs. It is not a public service: it can only be used by a client who has been personally invited by her coach.
Questions about this policy, or about your own information, go to portal@solotravelingceo.com.
2. What the portal does
It holds the material of your coaching program in one place: your weekly lessons and homework, your session times and recordings, the reflections you write, the wins you log, and at the end of the program an optional wrap-up survey and testimonial.
There is no public sign-up, no payment processing in the portal, no advertising, and nothing is sold.
3. Information we collect
What we do not collect
- No payment or card details. Coaching fees are handled entirely outside the portal.
- No advertising or cross-site tracking, and no third-party marketing trackers.
- No analytics product of any kind. We do not measure your browsing.
- No precise location. Your time zone is a setting you choose, not a location lookup.
- No contacts, calendars or files from your device beyond what you deliberately upload.
- No artificial intelligence processes your information, and nothing you write is used to train any AI model.
Information you or your coach provide
- Your account: name, preferred name, email address, and a password you choose. We never see your password; it is stored only as a cryptographic hash.
- Optional profile details: full legal name, phone number, mailing address, pronouns, emergency contact, and your time zone. Every one of these is optional except your time zone, and you control them yourself in Settings.
- What you write in the program: reflections, wins, and your wrap-up survey answers.
- Testimonial material, if you choose to give one: written text, an optional photograph, and an optional voice or video recording, along with your recorded consent choices about how it may be used.
- Program material from your coach: session dates and times, call recordings, session notes, and documents shared with you.
Information collected automatically
Very little. Our hosting and database providers keep short-lived server logs (including IP address) for security and troubleshooting, in the ordinary course of running any website. We do not build profiles from these and do not use them for marketing.
4. A note about reflections marked "Private"
When you mark a reflection as private, it is hidden from your coach's normal view of your program. It is not encrypted, and it is not technically inaccessible to her. Someone with direct administrative access to the database can read it.
We would rather say this plainly than let the word "private" imply more than it delivers. Treat it as a signal about what you would like kept out of your sessions, not as a guarantee of secrecy.
5. How we use your information
- To run your coaching program and give you and your coach access to its material.
- To send you the portal emails described in section 6.
- To keep the portal secure, including limiting repeated failed login attempts.
- To use a testimonial you have submitted, only in the ways you consented to when you submitted it.
- To meet legal obligations where they apply.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising or cross-context behavioural advertising.
6. Emails the portal sends
These are service messages, not marketing, and they are part of running the program: your invitation, password resets, a note when your program opens, and a reminder before each session. Your coach is copied on emails sent to you, because she is the other party to your program.
There is no marketing list attached to the portal and nothing to unsubscribe from.
7. Cookies
The portal uses strictly necessary cookies only — the ones that keep you logged in as you move between pages. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, which is why you are not asked to accept a cookie banner.
| Cookie | Purpose | How to remove it |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase authentication cookies | Keep you signed in and confirm it is you making each request | Log out, or clear cookies in your browser |
Fonts are served from the portal itself, so no request is made to any font provider.
8. Who processes your information
We use a small number of service providers to run the portal. They act on our instructions and do not use your information for their own purposes.
| Provider | Role | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosting the website | vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy |
| Supabase | Database, logins, and file storage | supabase.com/privacy |
| Resend | Sending the portal's emails | resend.com/legal/privacy-policy |
Your coaching calls take place on Zoom, which is outside the portal and governed by Zoom's own privacy policy. The portal only stores the link and any recording your coach uploads afterwards.
9. How long we keep it
- Your program material is kept for as long as you are a client and afterwards, so you can return to it, unless you ask us to delete it.
- Testimonial material is kept until you withdraw consent or ask for it to be deleted.
- Server logs are short-lived and controlled by our providers, typically days rather than months.
- Failed login records exist only to enforce the lockout and are not used for anything else.
When an account is deleted at your request, the deletion is permanent and immediate: your login, profile, reflections, wins, survey answers, testimonial and uploaded files are removed outright. There is no archive and it cannot be undone.
10. Your rights
Whatever state you live in, you can ask us to do any of the following, and we will respond within 30 days:
- Tell you what information we hold about you.
- Give you a copy of it.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete it.
- Withdraw a consent you previously gave, including testimonial permissions.
Email portal@solotravelingceo.com from the address on your account. Because the portal holds so little information about you, verifying who you are is usually straightforward. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
If you are a California resident
Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA you have the rights to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, plus the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months. The categories we collect are identifiers, personal records such as contact details, and your own written material, all described in section 3 and all collected directly from you or your coach.
New York
As a New York business we are subject to the SHIELD Act, which requires reasonable safeguards for private information and notification if a breach occurs. See section 11.
11. Security
- All traffic is encrypted in transit with HTTPS, and data is encrypted at rest.
- Passwords are stored only as hashes and are never visible to us.
- Access is enforced at the database level, not only in the interface, so one client's material cannot be reached from another client's account.
- Repeated failed logins are rate-limited.
- Files are served through short-lived links that expire.
- The coach account can be protected with two-factor authentication in addition to a password.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information we will tell you and any regulator we are required to notify, without undue delay.
12. Children
The portal is for adult coaching clients. It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child's information has reached us, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Where your information is held
The portal and its database are hosted in the United States. The portal is intended for clients based in the United States.
14. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how your information is handled, we will tell you directly by email rather than relying on you to notice.
